James BRUSH[H61] and Ann(e) MADDOX (considered in chater 08.C) married on 12 October 1815 at How Caple (a few miles south) and baptised seven children at Fownhope:

Per AMcD Richard, the son of James [H61] was baptised on 18 October 1829 at How Caple (or Fownhope?). He married Sarah SEALE at Lugwardine on 2 December 1849. Richard was a farm labourer. Sarah had been born at Lugwardine, the daughter of William SEALE of Hereford and Ann of St Martins, and died at Lugwardine on 20 (buried 30) August 1906. Richard buried at Lugwardine on 24 September 1891.
Richard had eleven children. WORK TO DO !!! which will be chapter 08.D One son, William James who was baptised at Lugwardine on 11 November 1861. His story continues in Chapter 08.E . AMcD as a source explained in that chapter.
